Sergio Senci
Researcher at Laboratory of Data Engineering

I’m a Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Data Engineering (LADE), supervised by Francesca Cuturello. My work focuses on protein-protein and virus-host interactions. Here, I routinely employ both traditional and recent approaches, such as molecular docking and protein interface prediction using Protein Language Models (PLMs).
I hold a Master’s degree in Functional Genomics from the University of Trieste and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Perugia, where I gained experience in handling diverse biological data types.
