The Area Science Park campuses are located on the Karst Plateau area overlooking the city of Trieste.

The administrative headquarters of Area Science Park is accessible by public transportation from the Central Railway Station Trieste Centrale or by taking the Padriciano exit from highway RA13.
Address: Basovizza, SS 14, Km 163,5 Trieste
The Basovizza campus hosts various laboratories, companies, and important international research centres and infrastructures. This campus also provides a coffee bar and a canteen.
After exiting the toll barrier of Trieste-Lisert/Tangenziale di Trieste, continue towards Trieste and take the exit for Basovizza-Padriciano, heading towards Padriciano. Follow the signs for the Area di Ricerca (Area Science Park).
At Area Science Park, we actively promote sustainable mobility initiatives.
We encourage you to reach our campuses by public transport, bicycle, or carpooling.
If you drive an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, you can recharge it at one of the charging stations available on our campuses and accessible to all users. An ultra-fast charging station is also available at the Padriciano campus.
If you arrive by train, bus LINE 51 departs from the square in front of the Central Railway Station Trieste Centrale and serves both campuses.
