Research Infrastructures

Here, we are pioneering a new tomorrow. A network of laboratories and facilities open to the scientific community and businesses

The research infrastructures of Area Science Park and of its scientific partnership form a cutting-edge hub. In addition to the three laboratories of our organisation, you can access advanced facilities and equipment in an open mode, thanks to national and international scientific collaborations.

Life Sciences

Studies and research in the field of genomics and epigenomics, structural, cellular and molecular biology, biophysics and microscopy

Innovative Materials

Study and development of advanced surfaces and materials, through the application of imaging techniques, structural analysis and chemical characterisation

Data Engineering

Advanced computing and data analysis services and R&D activities in the field of Artificial Intelligence, to extract knowledge from data

Strategic initiatives funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and by the Italian Ministry of University and Research

PRP@CERIC - Pathogen Readiness Platform for CERIC-ERIC Upgrade

Responding quickly to new outbreaks of diseases caused by pathogens: the project aims to create a highly specialised infrastructure, unique in Europe, that integrates equipment and expertise in biology, biochemistry, physics, bioelectronics, bio-informatics.

NFFA-DI - Nano Foundries and Fine Analysis Digital Infrastructure

NFFA-DI is an upgrade of NFFA, a nanoscience and nanotechnology research infrastructure with applications in the fieldo of materials. NFFA-DI intends to apply the study of nanostructured materials to the design of sensors and electronic devices on a microscopic scale.
