Technological Infrastructures

Experimenting with innovation for a more sustainable future

At Area Science Park, researchers, companies and public bodies can develop, test, and consolidate new technologies by accessing advanced infrastructures and well-equipped laboratories.
Our main areas of focus are technologies for digital transition and green energy supply chains for the green transition, with a particular emphasis on hydrogen.

Technologies for the Digital Transition

Digital technologies are essential for enhancing a company’s competitiveness, but it’s crucial to select the right ones and test them before integrating them into the production process.
That’s why at Area Science Park, we have developed a network of thematic living labs: demonstrators of enabling technologies inspired by the “test before invest” approach, where you can test ICT technologies and solutions.

Technologies for the Green Transition

Transforming high-impact production systems into sustainable models is the real challenge of today’s green transition. Science and innovation applied to energy supply chains play a central role in identifying solutions and processes that enable the evolution of production systems. The first step: the study and analysis of innovative materials.
