Alberto Aloiso, Board member
Professor Aloisio carries out research in the field of radiation detectors and readout electronics in Elementary Particle Physics experiments at CERN (Geneva, CH) and KEK (Tsukuba, JP).
He also studies applications of innovative devices based on organic polymers in electronics and sensors.
He served as the National Head of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research’s Funded Project ‘Organic Electronics for Measurement Instrumentation’. He is is currently a member of the Academic Council of Federico II University, and is part of the Executive Board of the National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics (CINI).
He is also a member of the Expert Group appointed by the Italian Ministry of University and Research for the drafting of the National Research Plan 2021-2027, and is part of the Expert Panels in Fundamental Research of the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO; Fonds voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek – Vlaanderen, Brussels).
