Lucrezia Valeriani
Researcher at Laboratory of Data Engineering

I am a third year PhD student at the RIT Institute at Area Science Park and University of Trieste supervised jointly by Alberto Cazzaniga (Area Science Park) and Giulio Caravagna (UniTS).

My research focuses on the analysis and modeling of Long Read sequencing data using machine learning and deep learning techniques. I hold a Master’s degree in Data Science and Scientific Computing from the University of Trieste, where I completed my thesis in collaboration with the RIT Institute. Previously, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Genomics from the University of Bologna.
