Piomponi Valerio
Valerio Piomponi ha conseguito una laurea magistrale in Fisica all’università di Roma “La Sapienza” ed un dottorato in biofisica statistica presso la Scuola internazionale superiore di studi avanzati (SISSA) di Trieste. Durante il dottorato, si è occupato di studiare la struttura dinamica di molecole di RNA attraverso metodi computazionali come la dinamica molecolare.
Da Novembre 2023 è assunto nel Laboratorio di Data Engineering (LADE) in Area Science Park, dove lavora sia come ricercatore che come data curator per la Pathogen Readiness Platform (PRP@CERIC).

Valerio Piomponi obtained a master’s degree in Physics from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and a Ph.D. in statistical biophysics from the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste. During his Ph.D., he focused on studying the dynamic structure of RNA molecules using computational methods such as molecular dynamics.
Since November 2023, he has been employed at the Laboratory of Data Engineering (LADE) in the Area Science Park, where he works both as a researcher and as a data curator for the Pathogen Readiness Platform (PRP@CERIC).
