Barone Federico
Dopo aver conseguito la Laurea triennale e magistrale in Fisica presso l’Università di Buenos Aires, Federico Barone ottiene la laurea magistrale avanzata in High Performance Computing a Trieste presso l’Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) e la Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA).
Attualmente sta conseguendo un dottorato in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence presso l’Università degli Studi di Trieste sotto la supervisione di Alessio Ansuini dell’Area Science Park. Lo scopo del dottorato è applicare tecniche di machine learning per favorire l’annotazione funzionale nel campo della proteomica.
In precedenza ha lavorato come analista e ingegnere dei dati sia nel settore privato che in quello pubblico.

After obtaining his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics from the University of Buenos Aires, Federico Barone obtains his advanced Master’s degree in High Performance Computing in Trieste at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and the International School of Advanced Studies (SISSA).
He is currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Trieste under the supervision of Alessio Ansuini from Area Science Park. The focus of the PhD is to apply machine learning techniques to facilitate functional annotation in the field of proteomics.
Previously, he worked as a data analyst and data engineer for both the private and public sectors.
