Bagolin Andrea
Andrea Bagolin fa parte dell’Istituto RIT grazie a una borsa di studio nell’ambito del calcolo ad alte prestazioni. Nato ad Eracla (VE), ha frequentato dapprima l’istituto tecnico “Vito Volterra”, dove ha conseguito il diploma, e poi l’ITS Volta di Trieste, dove è diventato tecnico informatico biomedico e ha scoperto la sua passione per il calcolo ad alte prestazioni.
All’interno dell’Istituto RIT ricopre il ruolo di amministratore di sistema: esegue regolari operazioni di manutenzione e studia le modalità di cooperazione dei software nel mondo GNU/Linux. Questi studi lo porteranno a sviluppare soluzioni HPC che rispondano in maniera puntuale alle esigenze dell’Istituto.

Andrea Bagolin is part of RIT Institute thanks to a training fellowship in the fild of high-performance computing. Born in Eracla (VE), he first attended the technical institute “Vito Volterra” where he obtained the Italian state diploma. He then followed the advanced training provided by the ITS Volta in Trieste, becoming biomedical IT technician and discovering his passion for high-performance computing.
Inside RIT Institute his primary role is that of the system administrator: he performs regular maintenance operations and learns how software cooperate in the GNU/Linux world. These studies will ultimately lead him to develop HPC solutions that best suit RIT’s needs.
