Cazzaniga Alberto
Alberto Cazzaniga è ricercatore all’Istituto RIT di Area Science Park a Trieste, dove lavora e collabora a coordinare le attività del Laboratorio LADE che studia applicazioni di tecniche di machine learning e deep learning nel campo delle scienze della vita.
Dopo aver completato un Dottorato in Matematica presso l’Università di Oxford e dopo una Claude Leon Fellowship presso AIMS-SA a Città del Capo, si è spostato al CNR-IOM di Trieste, dove ha completato un Master in High-Performance Computing presso la SISSA e ICTP, e si è spostato verso lo studio di tecniche statistiche moderne per l’analisi di grandi moli di dati.

Alberto Cazzaniga is a permanent Researcher at the RIT Institute at Area Science Park in Trieste, where he works and jointly coordinates the activities of the LADE research group focusing on applications of machine learning and deep learning techniques in life sciences.
After completing a DPhil in Pure Mathematics at the University of Oxford and after a Claude Leon Fellowship at AIMS-SA in Cape Town, he joined CNR-IOM in Trieste, where he also completed a Master in High-Performance Computing at SISSA and ICTP, transitioning to research in advanced statistical modelling.
