POST TITLE: Knowledge Transfer Manager, Fundraising, Technology Transfer and Innovation Unit

DUTY STATION: Trieste, Italy

DATE REQUIRED: 1 October 2018

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Project appointment funded by the External Funds Project “Cutting – Consolidation of the ICGEB Technology Transfer Office”Project Number: MSE/18/034CUP: F96C18000150006

DURATION: Initial period of three months, with possibility of one year further subject to performance and project duration.Project duration: up to 30 June 2020

LEVEL: G2/G3 (UN Salary Scale) depending on experience and qualifications

DUTIES: Under the direct supervision of the Head, Fundraising, Technology Transfer  and Innovation the incumbent will take responsibility for the implementation of activities instrumental for the development of the office strategy based on  the three main lines of action of the office including collaboration with the Biotechnology Development Unit (BDU);  support to the ICGEB laboratories in Trieste in the development of a pipeline of research collaborations with industry and management of the IP of the Centre.
