Ulisse Biomed developed an innovative diagnostic kit (Ladymed) which can easily detects the human papillomavirus (HPV), responsible for the onset of cervical cancer, by means of a self-sampling at home. Compared to the most common molecular tests used in national screening, Ladymed is also able to genotypethe virus, i.e. provide precise information on the strain present in the infection.
