EU4EG – EU for Economic Growth
EU4EG project aims at regenerating and strengthening competitiveness of the Republic of North Macedonia’s economy in the frame of the country’s accession to the EU. All actions are focused on the implementation of the operational principles contained in the EU Green Deal, i.e. improved competitiveness coupled with sustainability and decarbonization, primary role for industrial eco-systems, digital and green transition coupled with increased environmental and social standards.
With a duration of 48 months, EU4EG project entails the following 3 components:
- Component 1: mapping of entrepreneurial ecosystems and value chains; definition of new/enhanced range of Business Support Services (BSS) which, through specific and dedicated capacity building, Business Support Organizations (BSO) will be able to provide MSMEs in their respective territories of competence.
- Component 2: creation of a system of 6 accelerators
- Component 3: grant scheme for business generation and innovation projects focussing on Green Deal principles and sectors
