Area Science Park is offering 4 study grants, each lasting six months (with the possibility of a six-month extension), to support Master’s degree students carrying out their thesis project at the Data Engineering Laboratory (LADE) and the Office for Business Support (USSI), within the I-HUB FVG and E-ARGO projects.
The thematic areas are:
Data Science (Profile A) – 3 positions
The scientific activities will focus on the development and application of AI methodologies for the extraction of scientific knowledge from heterogeneous datasets, including the design of data-driven models capable of describing, interpreting, and predicting complex phenomena.
Data Infrastructure (Profile B) – 1 position
The scientific activities will focus on the analysis and implementation of data services and AI methodologies within the ORFEO data center infrastructure, providing advanced technological support for research, development, and industrial innovation.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- enrollement in a Master’s degree programme at an Italian university in a field relevant to the thematic areas described above;
- Italian citizenship or citizenship of another European Union Member State;
- good command of English and, for non-Italian applicants, adequate knowledge of Italian;
- be available to start the scholarship activities immediately (expected start date: 1 August 2026);
