Basic, clinical and translational research regarding liver diseases, as well as education and training activities. 

The Foundation pursues the following objectives: 

• scientific research in the field of liver diseases 

• healthcare assistance for the treatment of liver and biliary tract diseases 

• social and healthcare assistance for people suffering from liver and biliary tract diseases 

• education in the field of research, diagnosis and treatment of liver and biliary tract diseases 

• training of healthcare personnel for the treatment of liver and biliary tract diseases.
